Hi there! I’m Jessica, and I started FinalJesstination in 2018. Originally an outlet for sharing half-forgotten photos taken on past travels with friends and family, it has slowly evolved into a way for me to engage with the wider food and travel community.
At FinalJesstination you’ll find reviews of delicious meals, musings on travels near and far, a recipe or two, and plenty of photos.
I have been lactose intolerant for as long as I can remember. A few years ago it got so bad I had to remove even the lowest lactose dairy products from my diet. The first few years of learning the dairy free lifestyle ropes was such a struggle, but now I’ve got the hang of it I want to help others navigate this diet too!
I was born and raised in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. My undergrad years were spent at a small college in rural Minnesota, with a year abroad in Aberdeen. After a year back in Maryland, I did a digital publishing masters in Oxford. And since 2017 I’ve been living in Milton Keynes, my husband’s hometown.
